Hairdressing NC Level 5

What is special about this course?

The NC Hairdressing Level 5 course develops and builds on the skills and knowledge that have been gained during the NQ Level 5 course.

The focus is on experiencing the salon environment and learning about the various responsibilities and vocational skills required for employment/self-employment. This is done through the students operating their own Open Salon within the college, which in turn gives them the experience of running a business. Emphasis is also placed on the employability skills and attitudes required for the workplace and where possible Work Experience is undertaken in partnership with the local salons.
