Port Operatives Course Certificate

What is special about this course?

This four day course is designed to promote a programme of training based on the National Occupational Standards for Port Operation or Supervision of Port Operations. It is delivered in conjunction with training provider and consultants Port Skills and Safety Ltd (PSS).

Entry requirements

  • Candidates are normally in the employment of Port and Harbour Authorities throughout the United Kingdom.

Course Elements and examination -

  • Berthing Vessels.
  • Emergency Situations.
  • Working Alone in a Safe Manner.
  • Survival in the water (Session will include Personal Survival Technique training).
  • Signing and Signalling.
